The White Desert is justifiably the most well-known desert destination in Egypt - and for a good reason. The quantity of unearthly and beautiful wind-carved rock formations shaped in the form of giant mushrooms or pebbles is unequalled in any desert in the world. About 45 km north of Farafra, the White Desert begins. It is truly white, in clear contrast with the yellow desert elsewhere. At night and many of the organized trips out here include overnight stay out in the desert, it gets a character reminding of an Arctic landscape, the rock formations of the desert are often quite dramatic, and you should not miss out on the weird rock balancing on top of a white pillar. They had formed many parts as plant or animal shapes, also there is attractive rapture, and dry weather that doesn't have any environment pollution, there are trees that have grown in this rocks
2- The Park of El Gelf El Kebir
El Gelf El Kebir has announced a National Park in 2007 with total area 48500 KM2,
The Gilf El-Kebir is a sandstone plateau located in the southwest corner of the Western Desert. The Gilf is a sand plateau located in southwest corner of the western desert, The rocky surface slopes are partially covered by sand because the Great Sand Sea to the north is gradually encroaching on the plateau, The area is extremely arid but it supports wild sheep known as the weed an and several species of reptiles as well as small birds, such as the ubiquitous White-crowned Black Wheatear. You’ll find ancient rock art in the area that attests to a radically different environment in prehistoric times that depict numerous pictures of several types of big cattle, reaches a maximum height of 1050m above sea-level along the steep western cliffs, which rise some 300m above the surrounding desert. Apart from a narrow gap in the scarp, the western cliffs run unbroken for 180 km, the table-land of the plateau titles and slopes gradually towards the east and northeast.
